Tattoo Artist Application

WE HAVE VERY EXCITING NEWS!

We’re Hiring!

Bleed and Bloom Tattoo in Eau Claire WI is hiring for a new tattoo artist!

This is our first step in starting a tattoo collective and an exciting piece in our journey and mission to create a queer/minority-safe space and community within Eau Claire and the tattoo industry. We are growing! And we are looking for another artist(s) to come be a part of our growth.

The apprenticeship application is now closed

What we offer For Tattoo artists:

  • Competitive rent (monthly rent, and split costs on supplies evenly)

  • Small, beautiful studio with a gothic and art punk, night-garden aesthetic. (Inside a really amazing plant shop!)

  • Downtown street facing location with free parking

  • Professional photo setup for your tattoos

  • Setting where you can tattoo privately but still be in community with other artists and still have walk-in opportunities

  • Safe space for queer folk and minorities with opportunities to learn and grow together as artists

This is the start of a Collective and not a traditional shop! This, in combination with the businesses values and mission, means we are going to be very thoughtful in the artists we choose. This is not a situation where we are limiting hiring to a queer or minority artist, we simply wish to hire someone who is devoted to contributing to our safe space in a meaningful and honest way and who wants to be a part of what we are growing.

If you are interested in applying or want more details on what we are looking for you can read over our online application (and of course submit one if you would like to work with us!). We are not taking on any more apprentices at this time, only professionally experienced tattoo artists.
